Tuxford Windmill
Nottinghamshire’s
only fully independent wind-powered flour mill working with & for the
community. Built in in the north Notts
town of Tuxford in 1820 it was restored to full working order in 1993 to
produce a wide variety of flour. The
grains it mills are mostly grown by the Turner Family who farm in South
Lincolnshire & are members of the British Soil Association.
